Artist's Comments

My favorite Disney villain :)
Chernabog from "Fantasia" (segment "Night On Bald Mountain").

Background texture: [link]

Note: left wrist looks totally wrong, and it kinda ruins the whole picture for me. I want to correct this part in the next few days (any suggestion and help is much appreciated).

This is amazing as always sir! The only thing I could really suggest is clean up on the tiny bits of white artifacting that are showing between the black and red on the tops of the wings. Other than that you are solid gold. Great color choices and great texture.

Sadly, I can't do a critique, but let me just say that this drawing is amazing. The texture, the colors, it's all just awesome to look at.

Keep up the good work, Hammerson!

Ahh yes! Chernabog! Wish Disney would make more creepy stuff like that segment.
As for the wrist problem, maybe fix both hands. The one might be a problem because of the other one. I dunno, hope that helps a bit.
Great piece btw!

That segment of Fantasia scared the crap outta my sister and I when we were kids :fear: Definately Disney's best villian

Great colours and texture - Not sure about the left hand... if it were me, I would try drawing it at a more downward angle and curling the fingers (if that makes any sense ^^; )

Oooooh, purdy! Reminds me of my Uncle. He was... inappropriate...

Amazing line work there, Hammerson! It's difficult for me to just keep my lines looking good, but you seem to be a pro when it comes to such things.

Your work never ceases to amaze me.

Awesome stuff, man.

Thank you kind lady! :blowkiss:
The white bits are cleaned up now. These were probably leftovers from the original pencil sketch. I'm very satisfied with the color in this drawing, and the texture really added the "ancient" feel that I wanted to achieve.
And thanks a lot for the mention in your journal. I featured one of your works in my latest journal too.
